Breadsticks

2 T yeast
1 T sugar
1 ½ C warm water
½ tsp. salt
3 C flour
2 T butter, melted
salt
parmesan cheese

Dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Add salt. Mix in 1 C flour at a time. Mix well and roll out into a 12X16 greased pan. Gently score bread stick sections using a knife. Rub with butter and sprinkle with salt and parmesan cheese. Let rise ½ hour. Cook at 350°for 12 minutes. To make them chewy place a pan of water on the bottom rack under breadsticks.
