3 T Cornstarch
1/2 C + 2 T Water
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 lb thinly sliced beef
2-3 T vegetable oil
4 C broccoli
1 small onion, cut into wedges
1/3 C soy sauce
2 T brown sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1. In a bowl, combine 2 T cornstarch, 2 T water, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.
2. Add beef and toss
3. In a large skillet, over med heat, fry beef in 1 T oil, until done. Remove & keep warm.
4. Stir fry broccoli & onion in remaining oil for 4-5 minutes. I added a little water and steamed them for about 5 extra minutes.
5. Return beef to pan.
6. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, 1/2 C water, and remaining cornstarch. Mix until smooth. Add to pan.
7. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
